The Parent Forum is the body comprising all parents and carers of children at Abbeyhill Primary School. It has an Annual General Meeting at which parents and carers can volunteer to become members of a smaller group, known as the Parent Council, which meets and coordinates the activities of parents across a wide range of roles, and which was established under the Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006. It also runs events throughout the year.
Nominations for the Parent Council occur at the start of each school year, however there are lots of opportunities to get involved all year round, if you want to get involved please get in touch through this site, or leave a note in the Parent Council mail box in the main school reception.
