World Book Day!

Primary 2 have had a great week celebrating World Book Day. We had a visit from Mr Martin and Primary 6, who read our Mr Men books that we created. We loved sharing our stories with a partner. Primary 6 were so impressed with all our hard work they gave us a special certificate in assembly! Today we came to school dressed as our favourite book characters. As you can see, we had a lot of fun!image image

As part of our Book Week Scotland celebrations, the library is open every lunchtime this week for pupils who want a quiet space to read and enjoy books.  Some of our Primary 6 & 7 pupils are doing story time sessions over lunchtime for the infant children, who are clearly loving listening to the older pupils reading stories and asking questions.  We download books.
