Last week, Primary 5 visited Pizza Express to make their very own pizzas! In class we had all been working very hard on our pizza party booklets, and had all managed to answer 800 addition, subtraction, multiplication and division questions correctly. Primary 5 definitely deserved a slice or two!
Due to issues with the water supply in the local area we have had to make the decision to close the school today (13/10/16). Please check our website and Twitter feeds for updates.
Don’t forget that the next Uniform Exchange organised by our Parent Council will take place on Thursday 16th June from 8:30am-9:15am. See the poster below for more details.
Our JRSOs have a very busy week ahead of them. This morning they were reminding pupils about the importance of crossing with our crossing patrol officers. Keeping everyone safe as they walk home is our biggest priority and all children were reminded to cross sensibly.
The JRSOs will also be reminding pupils about the School Streets pilot we are participating in. This has been up and running since September and access restrictions are in place at school peak times.
Please click here for more information. Police WILL be patrolling the top of Abbey Street.
This week our classes joined in the RSPB’s Big Schools Birdwatch. Each class chose a bird that they wanted to learn about. We went outside to see if we could spot any visitors to our playground.
At assembly, classes presented their birds to the rest of the school: blackbirds, crows, owls and much more!
