European Union

As part of our work on the European Union, Primary 6 used their mapping skills to locate the member states. They found out when each country joined the Union and now know that there are 28 members. Using maps and their Passport to the European Union the children were able to solve the first puzzle in “The Mystery of the Golden Stars”. The puzzle led us to the word SCHENGEN. Next week we will discover what Schengen means and how it links with the European Union.
