Shared Learning in Primary 4

There was a lovely festive feeling in Primary 4 this afternoon. Christmas music played whilst a log fire crackled on the Smartboard.  Mums, Dads, Grannies, Grandads and little brothers and sisters all popped into our classroom for a hot chocolate and a mince pie. We took this opportunity to share some of our recent learning with them. They were very impressed with our ‘Disasters’ lapbooks that showcased our new vocabulary, photographs of our science experiments and pop-up art work. Our families also read our three-part Superhero stories that were inspired by Mrs Lee, our EAL teacher. There was also a chance to read our pen pal letters before they are posted off to sunny California. Finally, we shared our skills in formulating Powerpoints and the BIG moment was the premiere of our ‘Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile’ movie that was chock-a-block with fascinating facts from our recent class trip. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend today.
